World Sepsis Day: 13th September
Every year on September 13th, World Sepsis Day is observed with the aim of increasing awareness about the deadly condition. It is a day for people around the world to come together in the battle against sepsis. Sepsis arises when the body’s response to an infection injures its own tissues and organs. It may lead to shock, multi-organ failure, and death – especially if not recognized early and treated promptly. Click here for more information.
