International Day of People With Disabilities: 3rd December

The Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities is an international human rights treaty of the United Nations intended to protect the rights and dignity of people with disabilities. The aim of this day is to increase learning, optimism, action and celebration – to recognize and value the diversity of our global community, and to cherish the role we all play, regardless of our abilities.
